The Holy Spirit 50-50 Club began in September of 2014. It is a fundraiser for the parish and has been very successful thus far. With the 50-50 Club there will be one winner every month. The winner will get 50% of the total intake and the parish will get the other 50%. We are hoping to increase the membership each year. The drawings are held the third Sunday of the month after the 9:30 am mass. All are invited to attend.
It is simple to start or renew a membership. Just drop your $100 check for the 12 month membership in an envelope clearly marked for the 50-50 Club in the Sunday collection basket. Be sure your name, address, phone number and email address is enclosed. Otherwise, you can mail your renewal or new subscription to Holy Spirit 50-50 Club, 16 So. 6th St., New Hyde Park, NY 11040. Subscriptions can also be dropped at the rectory during normal business hours. Ten dollar monthly subscriptions are available at any time.

Society of Saint Vincent de Paul
The St. Vincent de Paul Society is a Catholic lay organization which seeks to relieve the suffering of our neighbors through person to person involvement of our members with those in need. Our neighbors are anyone who lives within the boundaries of Holy Spirit parish, regardless of religion, race, or nationality, who is in financial need due to events such as illness, injury, or job loss.
We can offer financial assistance to help pay an insurance or utility bill, or make a rent or mortgage payment.
We can refer a neighbor to parish Social Ministry to receive a free voucher to obtain clothing or furniture at the Society of St. Vincent de Paul store in Garden City Park.
We can also refer families to parish Social Ministry to receive food, supermarket gift cards, and metro cards.
